nubia RedMagic 6R launched in Malaysia: Priced from just RM2,099

We don’t always hear from the gaming-focused nubia RedMagic brand, but when we do, we can always expect quite a doozer of a product.

The new RedMagic 6R has just arrived in Malaysia and it’s another phone that packs the very powerful Snapdragon 888 chipset. Also under the hood is up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The RedMagic 6R is supposed to be a more affordable version of the RedMagic 6 and 6 Pro – it comes with a smaller 4,200 batter with support for 30W of fast charging, it’s also got a smaller 6.67-inch AMOLED panel that supports up to 144Hz refresh rate, as opposed to its siblings’ 165Hz refresh rate displays.

For imaging, you get a 64MP camera setup too, but the RedMagic takes the cake here as it packs two extra lenses in the form of the 5MP macro lens, and the 2MP depth sensor.

Other cool features that the phone comes with include a pair of touch-based shoulder triggers that you can bind to any control you want viz the RedMagic Game Space app.

To sweeten the deal, the RedMagic 6R is only priced at from RM2,199, which makes it arguably the cheapest Snapdragon 888 smartphone around. You can visit RedMagic’s Shopee page here to make your purchase.
