Nothing ear (1) Black Edition launched in Malaysia for RM499

Back in October this year, Nothing launched their first ear (1) buds, with a lot of excitement surrounding its release because of its unique design. Now, the Nothing ear (1) Black Edition is finally available for purchase in Malaysia through their collaboration with Crossover Malaysia.

The biggest change on the new Nothing (1) earbuds is the design that is now available in an all black colorway, along with that the case that comes with a full black body and a dark tint on the plastic cover; opposed to a white case and white head on the previous earbuds. Other than the design, the hardware stays the same. But just to recap, the Nothing ear (1) comes with ANC and transparency modes that can be accessed through the app and uses touch controls for better convenience with the earbuds. Other features included are: automatic in-ear detection, multi-device support, and an IPX4 water and dust rating.

In terms of battery, each earbud has a 31mAh battery while the case has a 370mAh battery that charges via Qi wireless charging or a USB-C. Additionally, Nothing claim that you can get up to 5.7 hours of listening time on a single charge, up to 34 hours with the case, and up to 1.2 hours of playback with just 10-minutes of charging.

The Nothing ear (1) is now available today for RM499, via Crossover’s online store for pre-order, or when you go to their physical stores in Malaysia, you can purchase them on a first come first serve basis. It will also be available starting on the 17th of December at 12:00am via Nothing Malaysia’s Official Shopee Store for the same price.
