Nokia has officially unveiled the Nokia 8 equipped with Snapdragon 835

Nokia has officially announced the Nokia 8 and all the features it comes with. This Nokia’s attempt at the high-end market and its the first Nokia phone that is equipped with the Snapdragon 825 processor, a major leap from their previous models that are using the Snapdragon 435 processor. This is also the first phone to mark the come back of Nokia’s partnership with Carl Zeiss which was used in previous Nokia phones.

As a recap, the phone has a 5.3-inch QHD IPS screen, Snapdragon 835 processor, 64GB of internal storage expandable to 256GB, 4GB LPPDDR4X RAM, dual 13MP camera on the rear and a 13MP camera on the front. The phone is packing a 3090mAh battery which should give you more than enough battery to last throughout the day. Some of the features that Nokia has highlighted is the Dual-Sight mode which allows you to use both the front and back camera simultaneously allowing you to record using both the cameras at the same time. Other than that, there is also dedicated live streaming to Facebook and YouTube with a single touch, record 4K videos with 360 degrees audio thanks to the Nokia OZO feature, and comes with Android 7.1.1 out of the box.

The Nokia 8 will come with a price tag of 599 euros (RM3030.88) and is available in four colours, Polished Blue, Tempered Blue, Steel, and Polished Copper. Now that the company has finally announced the phone, expect it to be coming to our shores soon.
