Nokia 7 is a cheaper alternative for the bothie feature

When Nokia skipped the number 4, we understood why as it was considered a taboo number in certain cultures. When they skipped the 7 and went straight to the Nokia 8, the biggest question was what happened to Nokia 7? Well, we finally have our answer as Nokia has just announced the Nokia 7 which has the bothie feature without the high price tag.

The new phone will come with a 5.2-inch FHD IPS display, Snapdragon 630 processor, 3,000mAh battery and will come in two models of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage which both are expandable via microSD card. The Bothie feature is the ability to capture an image using both the front and back camera at the same time, making it into one image. Using this feature on the new phone will be a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

The Nokia 7 is currently launched only in China with plans of bringing this and other Nokia phones to US and Europe at a later time. The phone will release on 24 October with prices for the two models coming in at about $377 (RM1593.39) and $407 (RM1720.19) with no indication that it will launch elsewhere.
