Nokia 6 (2018) to arrive at Malaysian shores soon

We are seeing a lot of great mid-range smartphones recently, and HMD Global is about to bring the all new Nokia 6 to Malaysia right after the Nokia 7 Plus, the Nokia 6 (2018) is an entirely revamped phone from last year’s model and comes with a more acceptable specs sheet as a mid-range phone, instead of using an underwhelming Snapdragon 400 series processor, it uses a Snapdragon 630 processor supported by 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, the screen remains at 5.5-inches with a Full HD resolution, while the main camera has been upgraded to a 16MP ZEISS lens.

Design wise, the Nokia 6 (2018) doesn’t look too different from its predecessor, apart from having moved the fingerprint sensor to the back, there’s a new black color variant that features copper accents around the phone’s camera module and frame. The Nokia 6 (2018) will also ship with Android One software, which we suppose that it will run the latest version of Android Oreo when it goes on sale with a planned upgrade to Android P.

We should expect the Nokia 6 (2018) to arrive in the next few weeks, given HMD Global’s promise of releasing a new device in the upcoming months during its local launch of the Nokia 1 and Nokia 7 Plus a few months ago, the phone is also sure to be challenged by devices from Honor and Xiaomi, so let’s hope HMD Global does the right thing to stay competitive in the market.
