Nokia 10 might come with 5 camera sensors and will release mid-2018

Nokia used to lead in the phone camera department during the time of their Lumia phones but after they dropped out of the radar for a long time. After HMD Global acquired the brand and released the new Nokia phones, it did not come with the well known Carl Zeiss lens which showed in the quality of their camera technology.

Looks like that all might change, a patent application was found on Google Patents listings showing that the Carl Zeiss brand has recently filed a patent for a camera technology that will put 5-lens on a single camera module for a phone. In the patent sketch, the five lenses are seen circling the LED flash, primary sensor and a fingerprint sensor. The module is said to be mechanically movable as it rotates the lens according to the zoom level, it will move the lenses around depending on the focal length and zoom amount.

If the reports are accurate, this camera module will be seen on the Nokia 10 when it releases mid-2018. It will also feature an 18:9 display and will be equipped with the Snapdragon 845 and 6GB of RAM.
