Labour Day was just yesterday and no one could ask for something better than the annual public holiday falling on a Monday forming a long weekend. But it turns out that Chinese manufacturer OnePlus did not catch a break, as claimed by OnePlus CEO Liu Zuohu on his Weibo account.
Liu posted a status stating OnePlus’ addiction to labor without having any breaks, just for the sake of a big surprise, along with a #NeverSettle hashtag. The post comes with a cartoon drawing picture of workers working on a smartphone. Liu’s post is probably a hint at the continuous hard work behind the scenes for the company’s next smartphone. The OnePlus 5 has been slated for an unveiling some time next month, so Liu’s post strongly suggests that the new flagship is definitely in tow.
As far as rumored specs go, the OnePlus 5 is tipped to sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED display in QHD resolution, a Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM. The phone will likely feature a dual camera setup whose alleged sample images surfaced just recently. However, the above rumors are not convincing enough just yet. We should expect the OnePlus 5 to be launched before the end of June. How do you think the OnePlus 5 will stack up against the competition?
