Nike sells iPhone cases made out of shoe soles

Most of us have always been complaining how slippery phones are these days, which is why we tend to put on cases to avoid any accidental damages if we drop our phones. Nike has apparently thought that shoe soles can probably be made into phone cases as well, and it has made a couple of them for the iPhone, the Nike Roshe and Air Force 1 will have designs that resembles your footwear, while providing impact and scratch protection to your iPhone, and they cost USD35 (RM152) excluding shipping to your location.

Now, this is a pretty interesting product, as Nike’s shoe soles offer pretty good grip when it comes to running, and the added grip will improve the aesthetic of the iPhone. From the looks of it, it looks even thinner than most rugged cases as well as being cheaper when it comes to price, while durability is still one thing that’s questionable if you were to compare to cases from Otterbox and Thule. But still, it makes sense for Nike to make a case for the iPhone since it has been in partnership with Apple for products such as the Apple Watch.

Therefore, we are not going to expect these cases made for Android devices, and let’s hope other sports brand can pick up the trend on this one.
