When the Nextbit Robin was launched, it was viewed as a startup attempt on a smartphone, which initially received positive reviews from professionals and consumers alike, before the hype took a deep plunge shortly after. It has been nearly two years since the phone was unveiled, and it still seems like a decent handset to own, considering the fact that it has now dropped to a really low price by a trusted eBay seller.
The Nextbit Robin is currently being sold for an extremely low $109.99 (RM 472.68) by a particular US eBay seller, named BuySPRY. The price tag is equivalent to most entry level smartphones of this age. Although the Nextbit Robin is a considerably old device, it still features decent specs such as a 1080p 5.2-inch display, a Snapdragon 808 processor which was seen in the LG G4, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage along with 100GB of cloud storage. The handset sports a standard 13MP/5MP rear and front camera, comes with dual front firing speakers and a USB Type-C port for charging.
It is rather unfortunate that BuySPRY only ships to US addresses, and international shipping will cost significantly more. Nevertheless, a Nextbit Robin at less than RM 500 is definitely a steal. Speaking of which, Nextbit just got acquired by Razer earlier this year.
