The next smartwatch from Samsung will be smaller than the Gear S3

There is some expectation that during IFA, Samsung will announce a new smartwatch in the form of the Samsung Gear S4. Based on a survey, there is an indication that the wearable will be a combination of the Gear S3 and Gear Fit 2, it could also mean that it could be the Samsung Gear Pop but that’s just a speculation.

What is known about the device is that it will be thinner and smaller than the Gear S3, and the straps will be interchangeable. The new smartwatch is also focused on fitness tracking and will include features like weight and calorie management, inactivity alerts, sports coaching and of course, it will be swim-proof. They did not mention what kind of screen it will be using or the size of the battery, only time will tell what the actual device will be.

Samsung is probably one of the companies that have been consistently producing smartwatches and introducing features that seem to be what we want but never knew about it. So, I am looking forward to seeing what is their next take on the wearable scene.
