New reports indicate clicking and high-pitched sounds coming from Pixel 2 speakers

Previous, we reported on some screen issues that the Pixel 2 XL was facing, where users were reporting that the screen looks dull even if it was using an OLED display which other phones with the same display was not facing. Looks like the problems with the phone does not just stop there as now users are reporting about weird noises coming from their phones.

High-pitch noises and clicking could be heard when the phone is next to the person’s ear, Google is aware of this problem and after some digging, they found out that it was a problem that seems to happen on the Pixel 2 and not the XL model. The clicking sound seems to go away when users switch off the NFC but the high-pitch sound still remains, an issue that could be solved with a patch which Google said they are working on. Other issues that the guys over at 9to5Google seem to have is that the top speaker is slightly softer than the bottom speaker to which their sources mention that it was a deliberate move made to reduce vibration caused on the top speaker.

Lastly, is the issue with the colours seem to stay on the screen as you scroll up and down. In the video above, pay attention to the black phone next to the white phone, if as the person is scrolling up you can see at the bottom right of the phone the black colour seems to seep out making it look like the colour is leaking out.
