As if 6GB of RAM isn’t an overkill, we now have news that Chinese manufacturer LeEco’s next flagship will feature a whopping 8GB of RAM, according to GizChina. LeEco has definitely been making some waves, having launched the Le Max 2, the first Snapdragon 820 processor powered handset ahead of major flagships. 8GB of RAM might sound crazy, but it definitely isn’t too far from 6GB of RAM.
To re-highlight how crazy it sounds, that’s double the amount of RAM underneath the hoods of the Samsung Galaxy S7, the LG G5 and the HTC 10 phones respectively. The device, which is rumored to be named the Le Max 2 Pro or the Le Max 3, is said to sport a Snapdragon 821/823 processor, rumored to be packed in the upcoming Nexus phone as well. Not only that, the LeEco flagship is also said to feature a 25MP rear facing camera, going all out on the spec sheet.
If these rumors happen to be true, then this LeEco device might be the next to look forward to apart from the Galaxy Note 7 and the next Nexus phone. A couple of days back, OnePlus launched their flagship, the OnePlus 3 with a whopping 6GB of RAM, which isn’t exactly new for a Chinese phone, but 8GB of RAM is really next level.
