Netflix will be introducing mobile games soon; free for subscribers

Netflix has confirmed that they will be adding games into their list of offering, and the brand says that the new product will be available to all existing subscribers for now extra charge.

The company has hired former a former Electronic Arts, and Facebook executive lead, Mike Verdu to spearhead the project; the team will work on mobile-centric games that focus on ‘interactive’ mechanics inspired by that seen in Black Mirror: Bandersnatch.

However, there’s no word yet on any official titles being in development as of now, and we’re remaining cautiously optimistic that Netflix will push boundaries in their gaming products, and not deliver cookie-cutter games.
