MySejahtera updates introduces more comprehensive check-in page and new check-out button

The MySejahtera app will be updated with a new check-in page that shows info such as vaccination status, risk status, and last check-in location.

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin took to Twitter to announce the update, which was rolled out last night.

With the new SOPs now requiring establishments to check for users’ vaccination statuses – this update arrives just in time, allowing patrons an easier way to provide proof.

There’s now also a check-out button which helps improve contact tracing efforts by having visitors to check out of a venue; this is useful for narrowing groups of people who may be exposed during a COVID detection within the premise. Jamaluddin adds that the check-out feature only requires the tap of a button – but users must remember to do so every time they leave an establishment.

Also in his tweet, our health minister also confirms that there will be more updates to arriving over the coming weeks which will further improve the app. Visit the MySejahtera website here for more information, or check your app stores for the update.
