Bluetooth trackers are being sold everywhere and its sole purpose is to make sure that you don’t lose your smartphone and the thing you have hung it on. MYNT is a very different Bluetooth tracker that wants to be more than just a mere tracking device, it is currently available at Indiegogo and despite already hitting its funding goal, the company behind is still accepting perks and sells it at an affordable US$15 price tag excluding shipping to international destinations.

How different is MYNT from other Bluetooth trackers? Well, the Bluetooth tracking tile can be clipped to your keys with a lanyard string and is powered by a standard CR2020 battery that lasts up to a year, most importantly, MYNT is able to perform the following actions – control music on your Mac, saving your parking location, controlling your smartphone camera shutter and controlling your presentation slides, definitely one of the most fully featured tracking device that I have ever seen to date. In addition, MYNT isn’t just made out of some cheap plastic enclosure but a beautiful metal body that looks very premium, and that design does remind me of Jabra’s STREET 2 Bluetooth headset.

Probably the best thing about MYNT is that the company has an Open SDK available for developers to make apps compatible with the device and the device will support iOS, Android and OS X. The team consists of six individuals who have long time experiences in the mobile industry, if you choose to back the perk now you will be able to receive the device on November this year. Head on to the source link to find out more about the project.
