The largest mobile tech show has kicked off in Barcelona, and we are being introduced to new tablets and smartphones from TCL, but among that the most interesting one is the TCL Tab 10S 5G, a 10.1-inch slate that comes with 5G connectivity at the price of 349 Euros (RM1,636).
The Tab 10S 5G is powered by an octa-core 5G Mediatek processor supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of base storage, it also comes with an 8000mAh battery that should deliver pretty good battery life even when running on 5G networks, on the camera side you get an 8MP rear and 5MP front camera, and it will ship with Android 12 when it becomes available in the market.
Other tablet models include the Nxtpaper Max 10, Tab 10 FHD 4G and Tab 10 HD 4G, these are unfortunately still running on Android 11 but they all come with big 10-inch displays, with the Nxtpaper Max having stripped of 5G but having 4G instead but still packs 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, a respectable 8000mAh battery, a 13MP main an 8MP front camera.
The Tab 10 FHD 4G and Tab 10 HD 4G are clearly differentiated by their different screen resolutions, but the HD gets watered down even further as it runs on Android 11 Go, these two tablets are powered by Mediatek processors and will sport the same 5000mAh battery.
The Tab 10S 5G, Nxtpaper Max 10, and Tab 10 FHD 4G will be available in Asian markets starting Q2 onwards, whereas the entry Tab 10 HD 4G is already available in Europe starting at 179 Euros (RM839).
