MWC 2017: Nokia launches the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 smartphones, Nokia 6 to be available worldwide

Nokia is making its first step back into the smartphone market at Barcelona as the company has announced the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 smartphones at the Mobile World Congress today.

We begin with the Nokia 3, Nokia’s entry level option for the masses. Sporting a 5″ HD display, the Nokia 3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage space. For the cameras, the Nokia 3 will come with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The Nokia 3 will retail for EUR139 (RM651).

Moving on, we have the Nokia 5, the mid-range offering in Nokia’s catalogue. Available in four different colours, this smartphone comes with a 5.2″ display and is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. The Nokia 5 will come with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. This particular phone will be priced at EUR189 (RM886).

Rounding up the Nokia smartphone launches, Nokia has also announced that the Nokia 6 will be making its way to the global market as well. Besides the standard Nokia 6, HMD will also be preparing a special edition Arte Black version of the Nokia 6. This Arte Black Nokia 6 will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, beating out the standard edition’s 3GB RAM and 32GB storage options. The standard Nokia 6 will retail for EUR229 (RM1,073), while the Arte Black Nokia 6 will retail for EUR299 (RM1,401).

All of the Nokia smartphones mentioned above will run on a pure version of Android Nougat. All phones will also gain access to Google Assistant right out of the box.
