Motorola’s newest flagships are the Edge and Edge Plus, set to launch on April 22

You read the title right, Motorola isn’t going down yet. The company has confirmed a date and time for its latest, biggest flagship phones and it’ll be called the Edge and Edge Plus.

According to Motorola’s official Twitter account, the flagships will be revealed on April 22 during its launch event, featuring a Snapdragon 865 processor, up to 12GB RAM and a 5,000mAh battery. The Edge Plus is expected to sport a 108MP triple camera setup, while the Edge will replace the 108MP sensor with a 64MP sensor.

These phones will also get a curved display alongside a punch-hole cutout. It should also be equipped with a headphone jack, a USB-C Port and an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, leaked images also revealed that the camera bump will be quite protruding.

The Edge series should the devices that Motorola wanted to announce back at MWC 2020 but since the event was cancelled, Motorola had to host this event to launch the phones.
