Motorola smartphones always tend to have the best value in both hardware and software, and they aren’t priced expensive as well. Back in the UK, Motorola has upgraded its Moto G with LTE support and introduced a new entry level smartphone with lots of goodies on board – the Moto E.

The Moto G has been a very popular Android smartphone in the world, as it provides great hardware and features at a decent price tag. Most importantly, the phone comes with stock Android and guaranteed upgrades to the latest version of Android. What everyone was complaining about the phone is that it lacks LTE support, which is crucial as users want faster network data speeds on their phones. And today, the Lenovo owned mobile company will be selling the Moto G LTE version at the price of £149 (approx RM814) off contract which is slightly expensive than the original Moto G and definitely worth the extra amount.

Now here’s an interesting one, while the Moto G is already considered a pretty decent smartphone, Motorola again introduced the new and cheaper Moto E to the market, which reaches a price of £89 (approx. RM486), its hardware gets trimmed down to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM, 4GB user storage with MicroSD expansion. The Moto E also features a scratch Corning Gorilla Glass 3, water resistant splash guard, all-day battery, Android 4.4 KitKat with guaranteed upgrades, and exchangeable colorful Moto back covers.

Motorola is trying to convert “dumbphone” users to become smartphone users with the introduction of the Moto E, which we think it’s a really smart move with its attractive features and affordable price tag. Let’s hope that the Moto E arrive at our shores one day, and compete with a bunch of Chinese smartphones, we really appreciate some serious competition here.
