Just yesterday, we got news that Lenovo will reconsolidate its smartphone business after struggling for some time. The Chinese manufacturer is determined to shift its focus to more higher end handsets under the Moto branding. Speaking of which, Motorola has confirmed that it will unveil a smartphone tomorrow, but the phone in question still remains a mystery.
Motorola has posted a GIF on its Canadian Twitter account, with the caption, “Guess what?! We’re announcing the next bold phone from Motorola on June 1st.” Neither the post nor the GIF tell us which phone to expect. However, according to recent rumors, we can pretty much narrow down to what we might see tomorrow.
A very likely possibility is that we will see the rumored Moto Z2 Play revealed tomorrow. The Moto Z2 Play has had its details leaked out on the web for a couple of months now. Rumor has it that the phone will be slimmer than its predecessor the Moto Z Play, with a smaller 3,000mAh battery as a trade off. The phone is also tipped to feature a Snapdragon 626 processor with 4GB of RAM.
The Moto G5S and G5S Plus might also see the light, although Motorola only mentioned “a bold phone”. Both devices are rumored to sport a Snapdragon 630 chip with different RAM variants depending on the model.
