The HTC 10, though an impressive smartphone in its own stride, hasn’t been selling too well worldwide, or it just couldn’t make up for the companies recent financial struggles. It seems that the Taiwanese manufacturer has to look beyond its sole flagship in order to keep up with the rest of the competition, financially as well. The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle, rumored to launch later this year, has had a couple of specs predicted by Twitter user LlabTooFeR.
LlabTooFeR, who is also a ROM developer, is known for his knowledge regarding HTC devices of the past, and according to him, the mid ranger will be sporting a tame Snapdragon 400 series processor, hence making it a budget smartphone to cost around $150-200 (RM600-800). The Snapdragon 400 series processor could be the 430, which is seen underneath the hoods of the Redmi 3s and the LG Stylus 2 Plus, or the 435, which has yet to be seen featured in any smartphone. While LlabTooFeR did not list out further specs regarding the Desire 10 Lifestyle, earlier rumors suggest that the phone will feature a sub par 720p display at 5.5-inches, 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage, a pair of 13MP/5MP cameras on its rear and front sides respectively, plus HTC’s signature BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition stereo speakers.
Regardless, the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle seems like a pretty value for money phone to get if the above mentioned specs happen to be spot on. For now, try not to make wild speculations and take these rumors with a huge grain of salt shall we? Let us know what do you think!
