Microsoft Xbox One S ‘All Digital’ Mega Leak: Images, Specs, and Pricing Revealed

The folks over at Windows Central published a report last month claiming Microsoft would launch a disc-less console named “Xbox One S All-Digital Edition” in early May. Official renders as well as pricing of the upcoming all-digital console have now leaked, courtesy of German tech blog WinFuture.de.

Just as expected, the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition” will essentially be identical to the regular Xbox One S. The only notable difference will be the omission of a Blu-ray drive. Instead, the console will have a 1TB capacity hard drive with a few games preinstalled. In Europe, the console will ship with Forza Horizon 3, Minecraft, and Sea of Thieves preinstalled.

Apart from 1TB of storage, the leaked images also confirm 4K and HDR support. This means you will be able to use the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition to stream content from Netflix and other video streaming services in 4K Ultra HD. As for pricing, the report claims the console will be priced at EUR 229 (RM1,066) in Europe, which is quite a bit lower than the standard Xbox One S console.

The Microsoft Xbox One S All-Digital Edition is expected to be launched on April 16th and is said to go on sale in Europe starting May 7th. As mentioned earlier, the console is likely to go on sale in other markets as well by early May.
