Microsoft is releasing the Edge browser and a launcher on the Play Store

If you are a big user of the Microsoft ecosystem but own an Android phone, you will be happy to know that Microsoft has officially announced that the Edge browser and a Microsoft Launcher is coming to Android phones.

At the current moment, there is already a launcher from the company on the Play Store which you can download now. Although it is still in Preview stage, it has managed to get a pretty good rating of 4.6 and has 5 million downloads, which is considered pretty good for a preview version of the app. Microsoft Edge, when it releases on Android, will come as a Preview edition but it will be getting updates regularly to bring it into the stable build. The idea of bringing these two applications to Android is to allow continuity between both devices and allow them to work in harmony. Features like Continue on PC will be available, and a small fraction of that feature is currently available on the launcher.

After taking a look at the launcher, I have to say it does look pretty nice. It does not feel messy but it is somewhat catered to people that want a more organized launcher or for the business people. But if design is what you are looking for in a launcher, then you won’t be disappointed with what Microsoft has to offer
