Microsoft launches Surface Laptop Studio 2 and Surface Laptop Go 3 in Malaysia

Microsoft has set the tech community abuzz with its announcement of pre-orders for the latest additions to its Surface family in Malaysia – the Laptop Studio 2 and the Laptop Go 3. Beginning 19 October, eager consumers can secure their units through authorized channels, with a suite of exclusive pre-order perks.

The promotions are not to be missed. The Laptop Studio 2 pre-orders come with a bonus Surface Slim Pen 2, while the Laptop Go 3 comes with Sennheiser CX True Wireless Earbuds, plus a one-month giveaway of Microsoft 365 and PC Game Pass, adding significant value to the already tempting offerings.

The launch is perfectly timed with the unveiling of Microsoft Copilot, an AI companion set to redefine user interaction with technology, enhancing productivity across multiple Microsoft platforms including Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.

The Surface Laptop Studio 2, hailed as the most powerful Surface yet, boasts a 14.4” PixelSense™ Flow touchscreen, AI-enhanced full HD Studio Camera, and immersive sound with Omnisonic® speakers and Dolby Atmos®. The internals are equally impressive, with the latest 13th Gen Intel® Core™ H-class processors and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4050 graphics, promising up to 18 hours of battery life.

Designed to transition seamlessly between laptop, entertainment display, and creative canvas, the Laptop Studio 2 starts at RM12,199 and is as versatile as it is powerful.

The Surface Laptop Go 3, on the other hand, offers portability without compromise. Weighing in at under 1.13kg and available in four chic colors, it features a 12.4’’ PixelSense™ touchscreen and full-sized keyboard. With an Intel® Core™ i5 processor, up to 15 hours of battery life, and options up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, the Laptop Go 3 is priced starting at RM4,099.

Both devices are designed to harness the power of Microsoft’s AI-powered tools, with the Laptop Go 3 specifically boasting features like Clipchamp for video editing and AI-enhanced tools in Photos and Paint.

Pre-orders are available through Microsoft’s authorized retail partners, with an exclusive availability of certain variants at Harvey Norman. General availability is set for 9 November 2023, marking a new era of productivity and creativity for Microsoft enthusiasts in Malaysia.
