The Micromax Canvas Infinity goes really cheap for an 18:9 display smartphone

We’re now seeing more and more 18:9 display smartphones in the market. 18:9 display aspect ratios not only offer a more immersive experience when operating a smartphone or consuming media, but it also provides a better multi tasking view which separates the windows into two squares. Indian smartphone maker Micromax has launched its latest smartphone that has an 18:9 display on the front and does not break the bank at all.

The Micromax Canvas Infinity name of the handset speaks for itself. On the front you’ll find a 5.7-inch FullVision display, in 1440 x 720 resolution. The tall front display means that you’ll be looking at minimal bezels on the front panel. Underneath the hood, the Micromax Canvas Infinity is powered by a modest Snapdragon 425 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.

The rear camera of the Micromax Canvas Infinity is at a standard 13 megapixels with an f/2.0 aperture while the selfie camera is a more impressive 16MP sensor. Both shooters are equipped with their respective LED flashes. The battery packed in the handset is at a decent 2,900mAh capacity.

The Micromax Canvas Infinity will of course be exclusive to the India market just like the rest of its devices. The tall display handset will be sold exclusively on Amazon India for a price of INR 9,999 (RM 668.08).
