Mi TV Q1 and Mi TV P1 series announced: Price starts from RM899

Apart from the Redmi Note 10 lineup, Xiaomi also launched a few new TV models in Malaysia. This includes the Mi TV P1 in three different sizes and the premium Mi TV Q1.

Mi TV P1 series consists of three models — 32-inch, 43-inch, and 55-inch

All three options comes with a 60Hz LED panel and has up to 178º field of view, but the two bigger TVs also push 4K UHD resolution and support Dolby Vision.

These are also Android TVs that has pre-installed Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube in addition to Google Assistant support. You can also use Chromecast and Miracast to project your smartphones and tablets’ content to the TV. The 43-inch and 55-inch models also offers hands-free voice control with Google Assistant and has a mic mute switch for those who are concerned about their privacy.

In addition to that, all the models in the Mi TV P1 series has a 360º bBluetooth remote control so you no longer have to point the remote to the TV’s direction just to switch channels or control the volume. The TVs are also equipped with two tweeters and two woofers, and you even get Dolby Audio and DTS-HD support.

The Mi TV P1 series can be pre-ordered online on Lazada and Shopee from June 6 onwards; the 32-inch costs RM899 and the 43-inch costs RM1,499 for pre-orders.

For those who purchase the 55-inch model which is priced at RM2,499, Xiaomi will also include an exclusive Mi AIoT set that consists of the Mi Vacuum Cleaner Mini, the Mi 360º Home Security Camera 2K, the Mi Body Composition Scale 2 and the Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro. This is a limited time promotion for early birds while stocks last.

Mi TV Q1

Moving on to the more premium TV; the Mi TV Q1 is a 75-inch beauty that comes with a 4K UHD resolution and quantum dot technology. It features narrow bezels with a metallic finish and also offers 100% NTSC colour range with dynamic local dimming. Like the 55-inch Mi TV P1, this TV supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+.

The Mi TV Q1 takes it up a notch with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Apart from providing stunning visuals, it also has a 30W stereo speaker system featuring two tweeters and four woofers, in addition to compatibility with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.

This is also an Android TV that has all the features mentioned above for the Mi TV P1 series. It is powered by a MediaTek MT9611 chip and has 2GB of RAM paired with 32GB of storage.

Port-wise, the Mi TV Q1 has three HDMI ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also comes with the mic mute switch and the 360ª Bluetooth remote control.

The Mi TV Q1 is also available for pre-order from June 6 onwards at the price of RM7,999. You can get it from Xiaomi’s official store on Lazada, authorised Mi Stores, Senheng and other official retailers. Early birds will also get the free Mi AIoT gift pack like what is offered for the Mi TV P1 55-inch TV, plus an extra Mi Air Purifier Pro H.
