Mercedes-Benz introduces the AMG S 63 Coupe and S 450 L

Mercedes-Benz recently introduced the complete S-Class family of cars with a focus on the S 63 Coupe and the S 450 L offering both performance and luxury in one package.

Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe

The S 63 Coupe comes with an AMG Panamericana radiator grille with a V-shaped cooling air intake which follows the lines of the headlamp housing and subdivided by chromed vertical struts. The side skirts come with three-dimensional inlays in high-sheen chrome to give the Coupe a lower-slung look and generate more tension in the flanks. The new addition to the S 63 Coupe is the OLED rear lamps, a new light design produced by the company.

The car is powered by the AMD 4.0-litre V8 Biturbo engine which is rated at 450Kw. Its peak torque is 900Nm which is a new maximum in the industry. It has an acceleration speed of 0 to 100km/h in just 4.2 seconds and a limited top speed of 250km/h and 300km/h with the AMG Driver’s Package.

Even if the Coupe has the speed to show of it, Mercedes made the effort to include comfort thanks to the AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension with adaptive damping adjustment. Users can choose between Comfort, Sports and Sports Plus. Rebound and compression are independent of each other which optimises the adaptation to the driving status and quality of the road. The sensitivity of the steering is also changed based on the mode selected or personalize it via Individual mode.

The S 63 Coupe will cost RM1,461,605.60 and is available in an exclusive Yellow Night Edition.

Mercedes-Benz S 450 L

The new S-Class enters the market with new features like Intelligent Drive which is the first step to autonomous driving. Active Distance Control DISTRONIC and Active Steering Assist provide comfort and support for the driver to keep a safe distance and steer. Speed is adjusted automatically when coming toward a bend, junction or roundabouts. The Multibeam LED headlamps allows for quick and precise adjustments of the headlamps based on traffic conditions.

The car comes with two new high-resolution displays with a screen diagonal of 12.3-inches which bends into a wide-screen cockpit. It consists of virtual instruments in the direct field of vision of the driver as well as a central display above the centre console. There are touch-sensitive control buttons on the steering wheel and they can be interacted using swiping motions. If you prefer to put your attention on the road at all times, the LINGUATRONIC voice control will allow you to control the certain expects of the car like the air conditioning, seat heating, interior lighting and more. It supports up to 450 individual voice commands.

The S 450 L AMD Line comes with the Comprehensive Motor Insurance coverage which includes towing, onsite repairs, one-for-one vehicle replacement, windscreen coverage and fast claims up to RM30,000 immediate approval. The car will cost RM699,888 and RM705,88 for the designo paint option.
