Meizu Pro 6 Plus and M5 Note officially launches in Malaysia

Meizu hasn’t been the most active smartphone brand in Malaysia, and its a great thing that the company has made a come back with two exciting new smartphones, namely the Pro 6 Plus and M5 Note, both come with flagship internals and a premium design, while having a really attractive price tag.

The Meizu Pro 6 Plus is one of the few smartphones in the world that uses the S7 Edge’s Exynos 8890 processor, while paired to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, it however doesn’t support storage expansion. Otherwise, the Pro 6 Plus is a rather attractive device, you get a Quad HD 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, a 4-axis optical stabilized 12-megapixel f/2.0 main and 5-megapixel f/2.0 front cameras, and a 3,400mAh battery with support for fast charging.

On a side note, the Pro 6 Plus is also no slouch when it comes to audio as it supports a 32-bit/192KHz audio playback, the highest for any smartphones out there and will definitely appeal to audiophiles. The phone’s display features a 3D Press feature, which works similarly to 3D Touch on iPhones but merely shows you an app preview when pressing the app icon. Lastly, the Pro 6 Plus’ USB-C connector supports USB 3.1 data transfer speeds, making file transfers between your computer a lot faster than the rest of the competition.

The Meizu M5 Note is the company’s mid-range offering that features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass, the M5 Note uses a Mediatek P10 octa-core processor paired to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, it fortunately supports storage expansion using the second SIM slot. Meizu has also marketed this device with a long battery life as it has a 4000mAh battery under the hood, which also supports quick charging with its 18W charger, otherwise you also get to have a decent 13-megapixel f/2.2 main and 5-megapixel f/2.0 front camera.

Meizu has begin selling both the Pro 6 Plus and M5 Note in Malaysia, the phones will be distributed by Dynamics Distribution and is available at its retail networks, while you can also visit the Meizu Online Store at Lazada, 11Street and GEMFIVE.
