Meizu 21 set to launch in Malaysia on 5th March from RM2999

It looks like Meizu is about to officially set foot in Malaysia, as the Chinese electronics brand has sent media invites notifying us the launch of the flagship Meizu 21, which is expected to be a sub RM3,000 Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powered device.

Paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage, the Meizu 21 features a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, it challenges rivals with a 200MP main camera with OIS that’s complemented with a 13MP ultrawide and a 5MP depth camera.

What’s interesting about the Meizu 21 is its interactive RGB LED ring that’s built into the third camera ring, which can be used as an incoming notification LED, volume indicator and timer countdown.

Packed with a 4800mAh battery that supports 80W Super mCharge fast wired charging, the Meizu 21 will easily offer a heavy day of usage considering its small display size.

According to our sources, the Meizu 21 is expected to come with a retail price of RM3299 for the 12GB RAM+512GB Storage model, and RM2999 for the 12GB RAM+256GB storage model, which directly challenges the Galaxy S24 and iQOO 12.

With this price tag and its feature set, do you think it stands a chance to beat its rivals?
