Logitech has announced a premier conference cam called, Logitech MeetUp which was designed for small conference rooms and huddle rooms. The cam has a 120-degrees field of view and makes every seat at the table visible during a meeting, the acoustics is also custom-tuned for huddle rooms in a compact all-in-one design that minimises cable clutter.
MeetUp is designed to work with any video conferencing software and cloud service including, Skype for Business, Cisco collaboration applications, and all Logitech Collaboration Program partners such as BlueJeans, BroadSoft, Vidyo and Zoom. The super-wide field of view with the option to pan an addition 25 degrees to the left and right is coupled with an UltraHD 4K optics and three camera presets to deliver a more premium video experience. The cam is optimised for huddle rooms, thanks to the three sound-isolating mics and voice-optimized speakers to ensure everyone is heard clearly. For bigger rooms, customers can purchase the Logitech Expansion Mic for MeetUp.
Logitech also introduced its ConferenceCam Soft Remote, which can turn any smartphone or tablet into a remote control for the MeetUp and features all controls available on the Logitech remote.
The app is available for Android and iPhones and is free to download from the respective app stores. Logitech MeetUp is available at the end of July 2017, business customers can purchase the cam through Logitech Video Collaboration reseller network at a retail price of RM4,799 and the Expansion Mic will retail for RM1,169.
