When LG launched the V10 last year, the Korean OEM seemed to have singled out Europe for the release of the handset, but the V10 eventually made its way to the region, later than the rest. The folks at Android Authority have spoken to LG’s global communications director, Ken Hong, and he stated that the V20’s initial launch will be for North America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. He also added that LG is still undecided on whether the phone will be offered in other regions. It is also likely that the LG V20 will face the same fate like its predecessor for a late release in European markets.
Last year, Samsung decided that the Galaxy Note 5 will not be released in Europe as the company claimed that Europeans do note like large screen phones. Considering the issues that the newer fire-prone Galaxy Note 7 has been facing worldwide, it will probably be a good move for LG to jump in with the V20. What do you think?
