LG has released a teaser for the successor to the LG V10 – the LG V20 for its Seoul launch next month on September 7th. The teaser only happens to reveal the launch date of the upcoming LG flagship, coupled with a background of a microphone, possibly showing off the handset’s audio capabilities. The Korean characters directly translates as “hear, see and more”.
LG has promised the V20 to come with the best of the best audio experience for smartphones , on top the fact that the LG V10 was already equipped with advanced audio tech. Not only that, the Korean company has stated that the LG V20 will be the first smartphone with ESS Technology’s quad DAC audio. It seems like LG is on the right track to building the V20’s reputation off its predecessor. The V10 featured Hi-Fi DAC audio technology, also by ESS Technology. The company has previously claimed that quad DAC reduces up to 50 percent of ambient noise levels compared to the typical DAC, hence the reason why the former will be incorporated into the V20.
Earlier rumors and a couple of leaked renders suggest that the LG V20 will feature a dual-camera setup like on the LG G5, though we’re not sure as to whether it will be an improved dual camera configuration, but we are hoping for the best. September 7th is only two weeks away so sit tight!
