LG G Pad III 10.1 launched in South Korea

LG has unveiled a new tablet on its home ground South Korea, named the LG G Pad III 10.1. Admittedly, the tablet doesn’t really look attractive in terms of design, but it has a kickstand that might come in handy most of the time, plus, a variant with an equipped stylus is slated to be arriving next year.

First things first, the LG G Pad III 10.1 sports a 10.1-inch screen, as mentioned in its title, with a resolution of 1080p. With the kickstand available, it is obvious that LG is making the G Pad III for media consumption, office user and internet browsing. Speaking of which, the G Pad III has LTE connectivity for internet access in the absence of Wi-Fi. Underneath the hood is an unspecified octa core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage up to 2TB.

The tablet features 5MP cameras on both the rear and front. Powering the device is a decent 6,000mAh battery, which sounds sufficient for a screen of its size. The LG G Pad III tablet uses the newer USB Type-C technology for charging instead of the older micro USB. In terms of software, the tablet runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and comes pre loaded with Microsoft Office if you so intend to use it as an alternative office device.

The LG G Pad III 10.1 comes with a price tag of KRW 429,000 (RM1,615.29) in South Korea, with an additional stylus model coming soon in 2017.
