Lenovo’s Z5s has triple camera and is now said to launch on 18 December

The Lenovo Z5s that was supposed to be launched on 6 December had a change in date, and it is now expected to be launched on 18 December.

The Z5s was first teased to be launched on 6 December as Chang Cheng, Lenovo’s Vice President posted on Weibo teasers about the Z5s. However, on the launch date itself, Cheng posted another photo and announced that the smartphone will be launched on 18 December.

What’s confirmed for now is that the Z5s will have a triple rear camera setup, and it will be in a vertical alignment. According to the TENAA listing, the Z5s will have a 6.3-inch waterdrop-shaped notch, but this is contradicting with the past speculations that the phone will have a similar Infinity-O display like the Huawei Nova 4 and the Samsung Galaxy A8s.

That aside, leaks that are more believable include the information that the phone will come with a rear fingerprint sensor, and comes with a 3120mAh battery.

The best option right now is just to wait till 18 December to learn of all the specs of the Z5s, and hopefully this time Lenovo won’t postpone the launch date again.
