Lenovo refreshes current devices with Intel’s 7th-Gen processors and announces the ThinkPad P51s

Today, Lenovo has refreshed a range of their commercial products with Intel’s latest Kaby Lake 7th gen processors and introduced the ThinkPad P51s Workstation, a high-powered device that allows you to do more advanced features on the move. Khoo Hung Chuan, General Manager of Lenovo Malaysia and Singapore has mentioned that they are looking to enhance their customers experience with high powered hardware and coupling them with the most powerful operating system.

As part of Lenovo’s efforts to consistently listen and respond to their consumer’s needs, they are offering the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, ThinkPad X1 Yoga, and the ThinkPad 13 all equipped with the latest Kaby Lake processors. The processor will enable integrated support for USB-C Gen 2 and integrated GPU which are better suited for 4K videos. With a clock speed of up to 3.9GHz, this will allow users to multi-task more efficiently and switch between programs easily, making it perfect for engineers, UX/UI designers, animators, or architects.

Next is the star of the show, the ThinkPad P51s Workstation which is a sturdy, mobile workstation made for performance, functionality to run heavy software with speed and stability that users require. The workstation is built to withstand rigorous use and wear-and-tear, with military specifications tested by exposing it to extreme levels of humidity, temperature, sand, high vibrations, altitudes, mechanical shocks and more. The battery life is long lasting, powered by Power Bridge Technology and offers hot-swappable rear batteries giving you freedom from a power adaptor.

The workstation comes equipped with Intel’s 7th Gen i7 processors, 16GB DDR4-2,133MHz RAM, the latest NVIDIA Quadro dedicated workstation graphics and colour calibrators for design and animation needs, 4K UHD IPS anti-glare display and will come with 512GB of PCIE NVME OPAL storage for fast data transfers.
