Lenovo has just released a host of gaming laptops in Malaysia – and they pack the latest AMD Ryzen 4000 and Intel Core 10th-Gen processors.
The one to compete with the popular and equally new AUS TUF Gaming A15 laptop is the Lenovo Legion 5 15 laptop – it can be equipped with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 4800H CPU along with up to a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU.
The display on this laptop is a 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel that pushes a refresh rate of 144Hz with an sRGB 100% support.
It has up to 16GB DDR4 3,200MHz RAM, plus up to 1TB PCIe SSD and up to 1TB HDD for storage. Unlike its ASUS counterpart, the Legion 5 15 boasts a simpler, all-black look. It’s also packed with the Legion Coldfront 2.0 system for better heat dissipation. On top of that, no gaming laptop is complete without an RGB keyboard, so this one packs a four-zone RGB layout for good measure. The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is priced from RM3,599 and is available from June 2020.
Lenovo Legion 5i
This is for those who want an Intel Core 10th-Gen processor instead – you get to pack your laptop with at least an Intel Core i5-10300H or up to an Intel Core i7-10875H CPU.
There’s also Intel UHD Graphics alongside up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU to run your games. Hardware specs remain unchanged elsewhere. The Lenovo Legion 5i is priced from RM4,199 and is available to pre-order from 1-15 June.
Lenovo Legion 5Pi
This varies from its Lenovo Legion 5i sibling in that it has a different look – it boasts a minimalistic back cover design with a white backlit ‘Y’ logo – y’know, Legion’s signature logo. This laptop is priced from RM6,399 and is available to pre-order from 1-15 June as well. But to sweeten the deal, those who act fast will get free gifts which could include a Legion Y44w-10 Gaming Monitor!
