Lenovo launches the K6 Note, K6 Power, P2 and A6600 Plus smartphones

To end the year, Lenovo today launched four new smartphones for the Malaysian market, namely the Lenovo K6 Note, K6 Power, P2 and A6600 Plus, all of these phones will easily attract the average consumer with its design and features, yet they do not break the bank despite being premium looking.

The Lenovo K6 Note is a photography centric device, equipped with a 16-megapixel PDAF rear camera enhanced with a dyanmic Correlated Color Temperature dual LED flash, it automatically adjusts for a natural-looking skin tone and consistent vibrant colours. In addition, it has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

Apart from its decent camera setup, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor mated to 4GB of RAM, it comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 32GB of built-in storage, and a 4000mAh battery. The K6 Note also features Dolby Atmos audio enhancement and supports dual SIM 4G support.

As its name already suggest, the K6 Power is a phone that tends to deliver long battery life yet without compromising features. Equipped with a 4000mAh battery, the K6 Power has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos audio enhancement, a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and a 5-inch Full HD IPS display.

The K6 Power is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor and comes equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. In contrast to its Note sibling, the K6 Note has a 13-megapixel main camera with PDAF and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

The successor to last year’s Vibe P1 has gotten a significant update this round, the Lenovo P2 now comes equipped with an even more beefy 5100mAh battery that lasts up to three days, yet maintaining a premium and lightweight form factor. In addition, the P2’s processor is updated to a Snapdragon 625 processor, it comes with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM with 32GB of built-in storage. Interestingly, Lenovo has also equipped the Vibe P2 with a dedicated TI TA2555 SMART audio amplifier, hence the phone offers pretty impressive audio performance.

Otherwise, the Lenovo P2 comes with a 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 main camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter, it also uses a 24W rapid charger to juice up its huge battery and allows 10 hours of usage within 15-minutes.

Last but not the least, the A6600 Plus is also a very decent entry-level model that comes equipped with stock Android 6.0, powered by a Mediatek MT6735P processor with 2GB of RAM, the A6600 Plus should be able to power daily essential smartphone tasks, there’s also a 5-inch HD IPS display that covers 70% NTSC color space and sports a 800:1 contrast ratio.

The A6600 Plus comes with a 8-megapixel main and 2-megapixel front camera, it has dual SIM support for 4G LTE and a 2300mAh battery onboard.
