Lenovo launches the IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro AMD with up to a Ryzen 7 5800H CPU

If you’re looking for a portable laptop that packs enough power for gaming and recourse-intensive work, then the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro AMD would be a good option. 

The newly-launched laptops come in two sizes – 14-inch and 16-inch; They come packing an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U and Ryzen 7 5800H respectively. The former is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPU, while the latter gets a more powerful GeForce GTX1650 card.  

Both laptops are built using aluminium along with an aluminium anodized stamp finish. The 14-inch model weighs just 1.41KGs and has a thickness of just 17.99mm, while the 16-inch variant weighs 1.9KGs, and is 18.44mm thin.  

Both models come with up to 16GB of soldered RAM, and up to 1TB of storage via an M.2 PCIe 3.0 SSD.  

A big selling-point for the IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro is the 2K resolution displays that you get one both models; the 14-inch version has a 60Hz panel, while the 16-inch model gets a 120Hz display, meaning the latter will be the better option for e-sports gamers. 

Other features include an IR camera for biometric login, TPM 2.0 integrated chipsets, backlit keyboards, and stereo speakers.
