It looks like the rumors were true about the OnePlus 5T, and it is no surprise that OnePlus is in the works of a half step up sorta flagship for its current OnePlus 5. The folks at Android Authority has gotten an exclusive alleged teaser image of the upcoming smartphone from what they claim to be a credible source, and the image looks pretty legitimate at first glance.
The image teases the OnePlus 5T from an angle, showing off its near bezel-less but flat screen front. Rumor has it that the handset will sport a 6-inch QHD+ display, which is a welcome upgrade from the current 5.5-inch 1080p display on the OnePlus 5. When asked on why the OnePlus 5 did not feature the more trendy 18:9 aspect ratio display with QHD+ resolution, CEO Carl Pei stated that the company simply did not have the resources at that time, which is understandable for a startup.
With a full screen display on the front, the fingerprint sensor of the OnePlus 5T will be on the rear panel instead of below the display. OnePlus is ticking more boxes with its flagships as they go. Do you think the OnePlus 5T will be worth upgrading to from the OnePlus 5?
