The successor to Samsung’s Galaxy J5, the Galaxy J5 (2016) has been tested on GFXBench recently and the results are out! The leaked results are thanks to someone who tested a prototype of the Galaxy J5 (2016).

According to the information screen on GFXBench, the new Galaxy J5 sports a 5.2-inch 720p screen, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 CPU and an Adreno 306 GPU, with 2GB of RAM, running Android 5.1.1. Further information from the results suggest that the Galaxy J5 will feature a 12MP or 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP selfie camera.

The 2015 iteration of the Galaxy J5 was launched back in June 2015, featuring specs that are mostly similar to that of the 2016 version. The only differences being a slightly larger screen (not much, really), and and additional 0.5GB of RAM. Other than that, specs according to the results by GFXBench are pretty much the same. Will the new J5 be a flop? Maybe we should wait till further information or rumors surface.
