Latest Samsung Galaxy Note 9 update will improve camera quality

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is the company’s last flagship device for 2018 and although it is a small upgrade to the previous year’s Note device, it is still a device that drew a lot of attention. However, users were slightly disappointed to find that the Note 9 was using the same cameras as the Galaxy S9+, but the company has just rolled out a software update that is focused on improving the camera performance.

Based on the changelog, the update will improve the Camera Picture quality, brightness of faces in backlit conditions have been improved, day/night HDR control accuracy has been improved and low light brightness and SNR have been improved. The update size is about 300MB and it has already arrived to devices in Germany. In addition to that, the update comes with September’s security patch.

As usual, it will take a while before we start seeing the update here in Malaysia. It could be slightly longer as well seeing as Note 9 devices in Malaysia is using the Exynos processor and majority parts of the world has the Snapdragon variant.
