Ever had the fear that your child might go missing when bringing them to a crowded area? Knightsbridge Resources and UMobile has the solution in the form of a service called TraqKid, Malaysia’s first mobile-based child tracking kit that can update parents on their child’s whereabouts and even seek emergency assistance from TraqKid’s call centre and responders from Community Policing Malaysia should the need arise. This service is made possible thanks to UMobile’s SIM-based location technology which is enabled in the SIM card.

Kuan Chee Heng, Chairman of Knightsbridge Resources and Founder/CEO of Community Policing Malaysia mentioned that what sets TraqKid apart from other child-tracking solutions is the fact that there is no need to use external devices, due to the use of the SIM-based location technology that is already embedded into UMobile SIM cards. The service also comes with an app that will give the parents details on their child and there are options there to send a request in if any issue arises.

TraqKid is now available for pre-order starting today, it is a subscription-based service that will cost RM58 a month with an upfront payment of RM36 for Personal Accident Insurance. For more information on this service visit TraqKid’s official website.
