Release date of Cyberpunk 2077 announced by Keanu Reeves – who’ll also be starring in the game

What happens when you put two of the most universally loved entities together – you get Cyberpunk 2077.

Well-loved developers CD Projekt Red (creators of the acclaimed Witcher series) teams up with adored actor Keanu Reeves to present their latest open-world RPG, Cyberpunk 2077 at this year’s E3.

Presented on the Xbox stage, CD Projekt Red showed off a trailer of their upcoming game that’s set in a cyberpunk metropolis where the inhabitants are addicted to cyber body enhancements. Keanu Reeves makes an appearance in the trailer suggesting that he’ll be a key figure in the game.

Alongside his digital self, the real Keanu also made an appearance on stage as he presented the game as well as the official release date of the Cyberpunk 2077, which is set for 16 April 2020. Because its on the Microsoft stage, we know that it’ll be available for the Xbox One on the store for pre-order, as well as on PC – however, one which distributing platform, we don’t know yet.

The game will also be available on the Sony PlayStation 4; and to say that we’re excited would be an understatement.
