JBL TUNE 220TWS takes on AirPods with colors and a $100 price tag

The choice of wireless earbuds may be a lot, but you won’t get as much color options as JBL’s TUNE 220TWS wireless earbuds, you get six colors to choose from and unlike the AirPods, you will only need to take a $100 note out of your wallet to own one.

However, you are not getting impressive battery life as it merely lasts up to 3 hours per charge, while the charging case will offer up to 16-hours, that can be forgiven for its large 12.5mm driver and JBL promises a “thumping JBL Pure Bass” sound, so we should expect some decent sound quality for the battery life trade off.

JBL has also introduced the JBL LIVE 300TWS, a higher end TWS earbuds that will come with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant built-in, it has IPX5 water resistance and offers up to 6 hours of listening time per charge.

The LIVE 300TWS’s charging case will offer up to total of 14-hours of battery life and a quick charge feature, it will set you back for US$150 when it launches this season and comes in color options of Triple Black, Glacier White, Thunder Purple and Petroleum Navy Colors.
