Japan is getting an official Eevee Pokemon Tamagotchi

A new collaboration has been announced between The Pokemon Company and Tamagotchi as they are teaming up to create the first official Pokemon Tamagotchi which will allow owners to take care of their very own Eevee. Each Eevee has the potential to evolve into eight different creatures such as Espeon, Umbreon, Sylveon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Jolteon, Leafeon, and Glaceon.

According to Japan Tamagotchi website, The Tamagotchi Nano will be released in Japan by the 26th of January 2019, however it is not confirmed when will it be released worldwide. The information was leaked earlier this month on the release of the Tamagotchi Nano, but it was not confirmed until today.

Although this is the first official Tamagotchi and Pokémon collaboration, it isn’t the first time that The Pokémon Company has explored a physical digital pet for players. The Eevee Tamagotchi comes in two different colours which includes brown and pink colour hard shell, and it would retail for approximately $20 (RM83.70).
