Canon is no doubt one of the famous brands for cameras, and now the company has approached Indiegogo to crowdfund the Ivy Rec — a tiny, clippable camera that can be hung around anywhere like keychains.

According to the Indiegogo’s site, the Canon Ivy Rec is a portable camera that is great for outdoors and can both capture photos and record videos. The clip functions as a viewfinder, where the CanonMini Cam App will show a live preview on the user’s phone.

The Ivy Rec is also said to be waterproof up to 30 minutes under 1m, shockproof and light. It features a 13MP 1/3-inch CMOS sensor and is capable of recording a 1080p video up to 60fps.

As of now, the Canon Ivy Rec hasn’t fully been revealed yet but it is written on Indiegogo that early birds who pledge for the camera will get up to 30% off. They can also subscribe to the campaign to get Canon promotions and news.
