Isuzu Malaysia has announced the arrival of the new 2017 Isuzu mu-X, a seven seat SUV that has been improved with major upgrades in the exterior, interior and safety aspects. The key upgrades include a new facade with blue spectrum ni-LED projector headlamps, 6 SRS airbags, soft touch interior, Hill Descent Control, 18-inch alloy wheels and a new Havana Brown colour.

The car is fitted with aggressive front fascia to show off its strong and powerful look based on the Bald Eagle, resulting in sharp and lustrous front. Both the 4×4 and 4×2 mu-X looks are completed with the 18-inch alloy wheels for a prestigious look. The bi-LED projector headlights in a blue light spectrum is a feature that improves drive vision at night and reduces driver fatigue due to the blue spectrum range. The headlamps also have an auto-leveling feature to keep the light projection in the optimum direction as weight is added to the car.

On the interior, a majestic feel is given to the users thanks to the soft surfaces and wood pattern panel at the door trim and front dashboard. Another notable feature is the centre graphic and new design electro-luminescent meter panel with Multi-Information Display is installed. On the entertainment side, the car will come with 8 speakers surrounding the car, delivering clear audio for all occupants and the 4×4 variant will come with 8-inch DVD touchscreen and comes with a fold down monitor for the back passengers. The 4×2 variant will have a 7-inch DVD touchscreen.

For safety, the car will come with Anti-lock Brake System, Traction Control System, Electronic Stability Control Electronic Break-force distribution, Break Assist, and Hill Start Assist.

The Isuzu mu-X will come in four attractive colours, Havana Brown Mica, Silky White Pearl, Titanium Sliver Metallic and Cosmic Black Mica and will be priced at RM179,000 and RM172,640 for the 4×4 and 4×2 variant respectively.
