iPhone SE 3 to launch in 2022 with A15 Bionic chip and 5G support

Before the launch of the iPhone 14 next year, Apple is expected to release the new iPhone SE 3 in April 2022.

Macotakara and Nikkei Asia reported that the iPhone SE 3 will not be getting a major design overhaul; the small iPhone will retain its 4.7-inch Retina HD display and Home button/Touch ID.

iPhone SE 3 is small but powerful

However, it will be equipped with the A15 Bionic chip that’s currently powering the iPhone 13 lineup, plus it’ll also be the first in the iPhone SE lineup to support 5G.

With the added 5G support, the iPhone SE 3 will be the most affordable 5G iPhone one can get.

There’s no information on other specs, but we’re not expecting an additional rear lens on the iPhone SE 3.

Apple usually don’t change the prices of their phones, so if we refer to the previous iPhone SE, the upcoming one should be priced from RM1,999.
