iPhone 7 leaks: Smart Connector in sight

Rumors regarding the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 have been hard to come by as compared to last year with the iPhone 6, details of the highly anticipated handset still remain pretty unclear. However, we’ve come across a couple of leaked images of the alleged device, alongside a schematic which might confirm a rumor that arose not too long ago.

Two images of the said iPhone 7 have been leaked onto Chinese micro blogging site with the device in glorious gold. From the images themselves, a couple of pointers can be taken. First off, the antenna bands seem to have moved to following along the lines of the frame of the device, at the top and bottom. Additionally, we’re looking at a larger camera lens plus what seems to be a secondary microphone, creating the existence of two microphones, which might suggest the iPhone 7 to have stereo recording capabilities.

@OnLeaks has also uploaded an alleged schematic of the iPhone 7 onto his Twitter feed. The 3 significant dots or circles tell us that we should be expecting Apple to incorporate the Smart Connector into the handset. However, recent rumors have cancelled out such possibility, indicating that Apple has ditched the Smart Connector. But then again, it still looks to be possible, but limited to the larger iPhone 7 Plus, but do take these claims and rumors with a huge grain of salt. We’re hoping for more rumors like these to come our way. What do you think?
