iPhone 12: Pre-orders in Malaysia start today

Apple’s full iPhone 12 lineup is available for pre-order starting today, but for those who prefer purchasing on the spot will be able to do so from November 13.

iPhone 12 series features Super Retina XDR displays

The iPhone 12 lineup consists of four models this time — the iPhone 12 mini, the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Priced from RM3,399 onwards, all four phones have the latest MagSafe technology and OLED panels.

Dolby Vision HDR – better mobile videography

Both the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max have a triple 12MP camera setup paired with a LiDAR sensor, but the latter has a bigger 6.7-inch screen like its predecessor. Apple also added Dolby Vision HDR video recording in the two premium models, so it’s now more appealing to smartphone filmmakers and those passionate about mobile videography.

Better performance, enhanced durability

As for the iPhone 12 and 12 mini, these iPhones have a dual rear camera setup and only support up to 2x optical zoom. However, they’re also paired with an A14 chipset and have the same Ceramic Shield front that guarantees four times better drop performance. Both phones are also come with an IP68 rating and have 5G connectivity.

To recap, the iPhone 12 mini starts from RM3,399; the iPhone 12 starts from RM3,899; the iPhone 12 Pro starts from RM4,899; and the iPhone 12 Pro Max starts from RM5,299. You can get them in stores and also via Apple’s official site.
